10 Natural Ways to Address the Root Causes of Infertility

Avoid the two most common allergens
The link between food intolerances and anti-sperm antibodies is now well established.
Studies have found that women with multiple allergies and food intolerances are
more likely to miscarry. An overactive immune system is more likely to attack
its own body cells. From an immunological point of view and embryo and sperm
cell are foreign bodies. But Mother Nature was clever: she programmed immune
systems to distinguish between an everyday invader and a sperm cell or embryo.
A normal and healthy immune response to an embryo or sperm cell is orchestrated
by Th2 cytokines. They suppress your killer cells (that’s what they are called)
to leave the embryo unharmed. Because of this protection many pregnant women
are poor wound healers and can come down really badly with a cold or flu. Your
natural protection has been suppressed so that your body can develop properly.
An abnormal immune response to the implantation of the fertilized egg is orchestrated by Th1 cytokines. Rather than suppressing your killer cells they stimulate their activity. This can lead to defects and the loss of the fetus. The two most widely spread food intolerances are gluten and dairy. I recommend all my
patients have an IgG immunoglobulin test done to check if you are dairy and
gluten intolerant. But since most people have some level of allergy to gluten
and/or dairy, it’s advisable to avoid gluten and dairy altogether during the preconception and pregnancy period.

Have an STD check
Most people believe both they and their partner are STD free. However there are some STD’s which can by asymptomatic, meaning that you may not be aware you have them, as there are no obvious symptoms. One such STD is a Chlamydia infection. In men, a Chlamydis infection can lead to sperm abnormalities including sperm antibodies.
In women, it can lead to scarring, blocked tubes and miscarriage.
A study found 60% of asymptomatic male partners of infected females attending a
fertility clinic were found to be infected with Chlamydia. Most STD’s are easy
to treat, so it pays for both partners to have an STD check. There is no point in only one partner going for a test as the other partner can re-infect them
again.

Allow yourself 120 days before trying to conceive

There is a common misconception that egg and sperm quality cannot be improved. In fact it is possible to improve the quality of your egg and sperm. However, it takes 120 days. This is because it takes approximately 120 days for eggs to mature and
sperm to develop. During the generation and maturation of gamete cells sperm
and ovum that form an embryo everything that you and your partner ingest,
inhale or are exposed to will influence the health of your eggs and sperm for
better or worse, and the ultimate quality of the genetic building blocks you
pass onto your child.
This is why it is crucial to follow a good preconception plan for a minimum of 4 months before conception. A baby is a 50-50 product of his or her parents therefore
optimizing the quality of eggs and sperm is of paramount importance. Sperm
disorders contribute to 40% of infertility cases. Women who suffer from
recurrent miscarriages often have partners with low fluid counts and visually
abnormal sperm. Therefore both partners should detox, follow a fertility diet,
take preconception supplements and avoid reproductive toxins discussed in this
article for a minimum of 4 months before conception.

Avoid coffee, smoking and alcohol
You may not want to hear this, but drinking coffee decreases fertility. A large study from Connecticut found as little as 1 cup of coffee per day increasing the risk of
not conceiving by 55 percent. And if you have 2-3 cups per day that risk rises
to 100 percent and continues to increase with an additional cup up to 176
percent. And did you know that women who drank coffee before and during
pregnancy had twice the risk of miscarriage?

Alcohol is harmful to women’s eggs and men’s fluid and as little as one glass can reduce fertility by 50 percent! This can further lead to damage of the developing
embryo and may result in miscarriage. And although it’s been known for a long
time that drinking while pregnant is a no-no, drinking before pregnancy has
been largely ignored. This doesn’t stop with coffee and alcohol. Smoking and
recreational drugs can also reduce your odds of conception. A study tested the
effects of cigarette smoking on semen quality in men and found that sperm
motility (ability to propel forward) decreased in light smokers while heavy
smoking produced abnormal sperm shape. Scientists have discovered that quitting
smoking may increase sperm count in men who quit smoking for 5-15 months 50
percent to 800 percent respectively.

Take a good quality preconception and pregnancy supplement.
Regardless of whether you are eating organic produce and a healthy diet, you are unlikely to be getting all the nutrients your body needs for optimal fertility from your
diet. This is why supplementation is important.
Getting pregnant and growing a new human being with your own reserves, requires a surplus of nutrients and energy. In your body’s accounting terms, pregnancy is
a luxury, a splurge of energy and nutrients. Some of the key nutrients for
fertility are zinc, selenium, magnesium, calcium, B12, B6, folic acid, Vitamin
C, Omega-3 fats.

IVF Does Not Address the Root Cause of Infertility
Conventional IVF and other assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatments don’t address root causes of infertility. These root causes include: nutritional deficiencies, toxin exposure, stress, food intolerances, allergies and immune deficiencies. These subtle but critical factors interact synergistically to impact the quality of your eggs and sperm, affecting your ability to conceive and the health of your embryo.

IVF as Final Option after Preconception Care
IVF should be the last option after all natural treatment options have been exhausted. It should never be the first option. The rate of success of IVF is (on average) 25% per single attempt. Studies show that by following a natural preconception program prior to attempting IVF the success rate is increased to 47.1 percent per single attempt. I always advise couples to undertake a preconception
program as a first step and reserve IVF as a final option. Most infertility can be treated without IVF. However if IVF is needed the success rate of each
attempt is nearly doubled by combining it with a natural preconception program.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Makes Fertility Treatments Far More Effective, TAU Researchers Discover

Traditional Chinese medicine has long been used to ease pain, treat disease, boost fertility, and prevent miscarriage. Known in the Western medical community by its acronym TCM, these traditional remedies include herbal preparations and acupuncture. Now Tel Aviv University researchers have discovered that a combination of TCM therapy and intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a winning solution for hopeful mommies who are having trouble conceiving. In the first study that measures the effectiveness of both herbs and acupuncture in combination with IUI infertility treatment, Dr. Shahar Lev-Ari and Keren Sela of TAU's Sackler Faculty of Medicine and the Tel Aviv Medical Center say that the results, which have been published in the Journal of Integrative Medicine, show a significant increase in fertility when the therapies are administered side-by-side. When combining IUI with TCM treatments, 65.5 percent of the test group were able to conceive, compared with 39.4 percent of the control group, who received no herbal or acupuncture therapy. The method is as "close to nature" as possible and can be used by women employing sperm donors, or after a partner's sperm is centrifuged to enhance its motility in the uterus. Age-old therapies, contemporary medicine Dr. Lev-Ari, a cellular biologist and head of the integrative medicine unit, works with both medical doctors and TCM practitioners at Tel Aviv Medical Center's Fertility Research Institute. He and Sela, a TCM practitioner specializing in women's health, have long been interested in how Chinese herbal and acupuncture therapies could work to boost Western-style fertility treatments, contributing to an increase in conception and take-home baby rates. In a retrospective study, Dr. Lev-Ari and Sela followed the progress of 29 women between the ages of 30 and 45 who were receiving IUI treatment combined with TCM therapy, and compared their results to a control group of 94 women between the ages of 28 and 46 who were undergoing IUI treatment alone. In addition to their IUI treatments, the 29 women in the first group received weekly sessions of acupuncture and a regime of Chinese medicinals, which consisted of powdered or raw Chinese herbs such as PeoniaAlbae and Chuanxiong, designed to meet each woman's specific needs. All herbal preparations were approved by the Israeli Health Ministry. In terms of both conception and take-home baby rates, the test group fared far better than the control group. Out of the 29 women in the test group, 65.5 percent conceived, and 41.4 percent delivered healthy babies. In the control group, only 39.4 percent conceived and 26.9 percent delivered. The vast difference in success rates is even more surprising when the age of the average participant was taken into account, Dr. Lev-Ari and Sela note. "The average age of the women in the study group was 39.4, while that of the control group was 37.1. Normally, the older the mother, the lower the pregnancy and delivery rates," they explain. Promoting balance and harmony in the womb According to the researchers, TCM is aimed at correcting imbalances in the body's natural energy flow, promoting an overall sense of well-being. There are several theories as to why Chinese medicine can be beneficial to fertility rates, including the possibility that herbal remedies and acupuncture can affect the ovulation and menstrual cycle, enhance blood flow to the uterus, and enhance endorphin production and secretion to inhibit the central nervous system and induce calm - all of which can contribute to successful conception. Now that the researchers have established that TCM can have a major impact on the success of fertility treatments, they plan to design randomized clinical trials, including placebos, to further validate their initial findings.

MY 7 YEAR ORDEAL WITH CHILDLESSNESS; I DID TERRIBLE THINGS I CAN'T EVEN TELL ANYBODY

*Dr. Sandra Ekwunife, Managing Director and Chief Consultant of Perfect Slimmers Ltd, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos was childless and overweight for almost seven years after her marriage to Barrister Ekwunife as a Part Two student of University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

*The search for a baby made her try almost anything possible. She tried the medical line, the herbal line and even the spiritual way. No solution came. Her problem actually was blocked fallopian tubes because of too much fat.

*She went to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), three times for tubal flushing. But the tubes remained blocked. Operation was ruled out, because of the type of skin she has which grows keloids easily when cut. So, if the tubes are operated upon to remove the fat, keloids might develop from the stitches and gum the tubes together, which might lead to worse complications.

*Anambra-born Dr. Ekwunife was formerly into fashion business and had a boutique at Alade Market, off Allen Avenue, Ikeja, a business that regularly took her to places like Hong Kong about three times a year, especially when festive seasons are approaching. It was during one of such trips that she was introduced to a Chinese herbal institution that runs departments for slimming, infertility, beauty, skin therapy and so on.

*Initially, she registered with the outfit to shed weight. Though childless then, she weighed 105 kg. She was placed on herbal slimming, and in one week, she lost 7kg. Progressively, she kept losing weight until she was okay. In the process, she also registered with the fertility department, and in three weeks, her blocked tubes were open and free through the therapy she was placed on. She passed out all the fat blocking her tubes. Today, she is a mother of two and the third one is on the way.

*But in-between the time she got married and the time she took in for the first time after seven years, is a gripping story which only Dr. Ekwunife herself can tell. CLICK BELOW TO READ HER STORY: http://www.mybattle4baby.blogspot.com

USE HERBS, PUT INFERTILITY BEHIND YOU

USE HERBS, PUT INFERTILITY BEHIND YOU
“There is no woman that is barren, what makes some barren is man-made that is, intakes like beef, chicken, pork and others with high fat and sweet things which cause a problem in the inner part of the woman. For infertility is a kind of illness of various individuals, there are certain things a woman would eat and they cause a lot of unwarranted fats in her system, those fat would occupy the placenta and tubes and it becomes a problem, that is why a lot of women who have such inner growing fats have seized periods (menstrual flow). It is not natural and they may not even know the cause of it.

All these are revelations by a natural medical doctor, Dr. Arister King Lebe on the issue of infertility in women and how best to overcome it. The natural medical doctor, who trained under Joseph Lambo of blessed memory, explained that professional natural herbal practitioners, who are God-fearing and who know what to do with veins and tubes, working with herbs are the answer to infertility problems.

According to King Lebe, “the non-professionals are those who did not inherit the profession of herbal practice for herbal practice is not a man-made profession but there are professionals whom God gave the idea of using particular leaf for a particular ailment. Like most of us who inherited it from our forefathers. Aristerking insists that “a lot of barren women, when they go for different operations to resolve their problem of infertility end up being operated on, but that is not the issue, the issue is how to clean the tubes.” In natural medicine there are some medicines they must drink and some inserted into the woman’s body to help open the tubes and burn off the fat and the woman would end up having a clean tube and placenta. And presently, there are some which have been used to treat such otherwise infertile women and they are registered under my name,” Aristerking.

He said further “natural plants and herbs are God made things and not diabolic. God created all things on earth – food to eat and water to drink, all these are supplements to help the body. He gave us all these for healing, especially in Nigeria and I’m working on exporting some not that we should be importing.

The spiritualist cum natural orthopaedist, further added that “all the sweet things (in-takes) lead to sicknesses in the body. He noted that there are some people whom sugar is not good for, so they ought to desist from soft drinks, especially men, for it causes low sperm count, so also salads. All these even lead to high blood pressure because those cause problems on the cells – white and red blood cells. Also, some of the orthodox drugs have harmful effects on humans’ health because of camofeine and allsorts that are not good for the body.

But vegetables, which are sources of vitamins and also honey are good for building the body. King Lebe warned that “when natural herbs are neglected, then, one is spiritually blind. To be spirituallyh “open eyed” and put infertility behind one is intake of herbs.” He urged herbal practitioners to give credit to originators of herbal remedies” this he believes “would put a stop to their reluctance to reveal or give out such things.”

And, presently, to help the field grow, he revealed that he is “working on books and an institute where I will be teaching people the uses of herbs for I do not want my ideas, passed down to me by my fathers and the one I researched to die.”

GETTING PREGNANT...NATURALLY

Getting pregnant…naturally

A 38-year-old woman anxious to prepare for her first pregnancy asks: ‘in reference to my age, how do I prepare for undelayed and easy conception?’

Answer of Dr. Marcus Alade Dawodu, a Naturopath and Medical Consultant, Blue Fountain Clinic:

Naturopath means nature cure and involves all therapeutic modalities that will guide the human organism back to an original state of wholeness.

It believes that cells in the body work as a function unit for the good of the body; and the body in turn works for the good of the constituent cells and reject waste products.

Naturopathy uses natural resources which contain inherent healing powers, it simply believes in the supremacy of nature and in richness of 100 per cent natural foods above anything else in managing a health disorder.

The best guarantee of easy conception and successful delivery is for a woman to go on 100 per cent natural food for the following reasons.

Natural food is rich in vital force (electromagnetic property of living things) which sustains health and defends immunity. It is not quantifiable in science. It is the force of life that is present only in natural food and care should be taken not to over-cook, fry, process or refrigerate natural food for they destroy such vital force. Legumes, roughage like pineapple, oranges and cherry fruit contain good vital force which can ensure easy and safe conception.

WARM UP THE WOMB FOR CONCEPTION NATURALLY

Warm up the womb for conception naturally

According to Dr. Godwin Ihesie, a natural health practitioner, the uterus is a hollow and muscular pear shaped reproductive organ that lies between the bladder and the rectum. It is divided into two parts:

The cervix and the body of the uterus. The cervix is the neck of the womb or the lower part of the uterus which protrudes into the vagina.

The cervix contains glands that secrete mucus which help in transportation of the male sperm from the vagina into the uterus.

The cervix dilates during labour to allow the passage of the infant during childbirth.

In a non pregnant woman, the body of the uterus is about the size and shape of a pear. It has an amazing elastic ability stretching about 9 cm in length at conception to about 50 cm in a full term pregnancy. After childbirth it can return to its original size within a few days.

It also holds, protects and nourishes the fetus during development and “expels” the infant when development is complete. Most of the problems affecting the womb (uterus) stem from multifarious reasons.

Miscarriages, stillbirth, premature birth, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, irregular and painful menstruation and infertility amongst many other reproductive health problems are preventable, for they stem from health conditions that can be managed by health remedies.

The root of some of the problems include weak and insufficient activity of the liver; nutritional deficiencies, for example calcium, unexpressed and retained negative emotion, constitutional weakness and genetic predisposition of the body and unwholesome lifestyle and distortions.

Fortunately, there are many herbs which help to normalize most of the female reproductive problems. They are grouped under the following headings:
Those that cleanse the blood (alternatives) and the lymph; for example Stinging Nettle, Marigold, Cleaves. Liver tonic like Dandelion, Phyllanthus, Milk Thistle and Bitters. All these remove congestion in the liver and enhance its detoxification activities.

There are those that normalize the female hormones and regulate the cycle, such as mistletoe and chasteberry. In the same vein are the Emmenagogues, which are sensitive plants that correct menstrual irregularity. Some of them are Yarrow, Parsley, Ginger, Thyme and Yarrow/Ladies Mantle.

There are those that are called Uterine Astringents or herbs that reduce excessive menstrual flow e.g. Shepherd’s Purse, Yarrow, Ladies Mantle. The ones that prevent infections are known as uterine antiseptics e.g. Garlic, Goldenseal and Yarrow.

Nerves and antispasmodics for example Mother’s Wort and Dramamine are also good. Generally, one can prepare a woman’s womb by application of tonic herb. Tonic is a substance that balances the biochemical and physiological event that comprise the body system. Most herbal tonics exhibit bi-directional activities, that is, they are capable of both increasing and decreasing the activity of body process, thus maintaining a balance. Some may also exhibit multidirectional activities.

Uterine tonics are those herbs that specifically tone, strengthen and nourish the uterus. They are good for women of all ages. The functions of uterine herbs include revitalizing the entire reproductive organs by making it healthy and fruitful. They restore the tone of weak organs. They establish and balance normal hormonal functions, that is, they regulate the cycle; they are usually combined with liver tonic e.g. Dandelion.

They balance the sexual desire and relax the nervous system. These include Iyere, Eru, Phyllanthus nuriri, Nettle, Raspberry, Chasteberry, Black Cohosh, Licorice, Red Clover, Mother’s Wort, False Unicorn Root and Squaw Vine. (Most of these herbs – in capsule form, are imported by DUMEX Nig Limited) See:
www.naturalhealthshops.blogspot.com
False Unicorn is not readily available in Nigeria as it is very expensive to import. However, there are substitutes or alternatives to it.

TREATMENT OF MALE INFERTILITY

ALTERNATIVE APPROACH TO THE TREATMENT OF MALE INFERTILITY OR (LOW SPERM COUNT)

Clinical experiences have shown that men with low sperm count (i.e. a sperm count that is below 20 million) respond so well to simple natural remedies (including wholesome dietary and lifestyle changes) better than most of the “Hitech” chemotherapies available today in the market.

Supplementary therapy using supplements like zinc, selenium, vitamin C, E, B-complex, L-arginine, co-enzyme Q10, etc, may sometimes be necessary, particularly, where bacterial and other microbial infections have been implicated or where nutritional deficiencies are strongly suspected. It is, however important to mention here, that the body requires a minimum of 72 – 90 days to produce healthy sperm or to normalize a depressed sperm production. Hereunder, are some of the simple and useful remedies that have been found to be quite effective in some cases of oligospermia (low sperm count).

A normal sperm count (i.e fertility) is often a reflection of a man’s general health. Fathering a healthy child means that the man’s sperm must also be healthy.

- the semen must be present in sufficient volume and must not clump together.
- The sperm density (i.e the number) must be adequate and they must be relatively normal in size, shape and must be actively motile in order to overcome the laborious task of reaching the fallopian tubes and the fertilizable egg.
- Above all the sperm cells must not be inhibited by sperm antibodies that may be present in the woman. Male infertility results when, the man’s testicles:
- Lacks the power to produce sperm e.g. azoospermia or
- When the production of sperm is grossly inadequate or
- When they lack the swimming power and lazy to overcome the woman’s cervical mucus or reaching their final destination or when the majority of the sperms have abnormal shape.

A man is also considered to be infertile when despite normal sperm analysis, he has the problem of delivering the sperm into the vagina e.g in cases of impotence, premature ejaculation, especially when ejaculation comes quickly prior to inserting the penis fully into the vagina or when the semen is ejaculated into the urinary bladder rather than through the tube where the semen normally travels. Furthermore, the sperm analysis could be normal, but the correct timing of the woman’s ovulation may be missed.

Apart from those caused by male infertility, which are non-physical or what are technically referred to as “unexplained factors,” several medical causes of male infertility have been identified and these include:
i. Infections/diseases/drugs: Sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea, Chlamydia or syphilis when poorly treated can damage or block the spermatic ducts especially when they result in chronic active prostatitis (inflammation of the prostrate gland) tuberculosis infection can also cause scarring and blockage to the spermatic ducts and these often result in azoospermia if there is complete blockage or low sperm count if the spermatic duct is partially blocked or damaged.
The infections can further cause the testicles to shrink in size (atrophy).

Other types of infection that can affect sperm production are: urinary tract infection, mumps in adulthood, typhoid, small pox, etc.

Sometimes systemic diseases, severe illness, fever, spinal cord injury, genital injury, undescended testicles, twisting of the testes inside the scrotum, impotence, kidney failures, etc are some of the diseases that can affect sperm production and fertility.

Drugs, e.g those used in the treatment of hypertension, cancers and depression. Also, those used in muscle building (anabolic drugs) may not only cause infertility, but are equally known to cause the testicles, twisting, to shrink. There are numerous drugs that have been listed in some medical books that can interfere with sperm production. E.g. cocaine and marijuana abuse. It a well known fact that
-excessive indulgence in alcohol results in a transient erectile dysfunction and reduces the activity of the male sex hormone (testosterone) and may therefore lead to low sperm count.
-cigarette smoking not only depresses sperm production, but drastically reduces the ability of the sperm to swim actively and gives rise to abnormal forms.
-alcoholism equally leads to malnutrition which is a factor for male infertility.

ii. Constant exposure to environmental toxins: the testicles can be damaged by toxic chemicals, heavy metals, radiations, insecticides, etc.

iii. Excessive heat on the scrotum: all the factors that produces heat in the testicles, or those that cause a rise in temperature in the scrotal area or overheating the testicles can dramatically reduce or even stop the production of sperm. A varicose vein is the vein that allows blood to pool in the scrotum. But when the veins dilate and bulge or swell blood pools around the testicles and produce heat that may interfere with sperm production, resulting in the destruction of the sperm and such condition is known as Variococele. Studies have shown that 40% cases of male infertility is the result of variococele. The condition is often described as a feeling like “Bag of worms” in the scrotum, especially when the condition is prominent.

Other conditions that “cook” or “over heat” the testicles include: excessive hot baths, saunas, sitting and driving, over heated cars, long distance driving, wearing close fitting or tight underpants, etc.

iv. Hormonal disturbances: Testosterone becomes very low in the blood. Being the male hormone that matures the testicles under the influence of the brain and the pituitary, a deficiency affects the production and maturing of sperm. The testicles may also fail to function due to hormonal imbalance.

Sometimes some do experience high blood level of prolactin and this often leads to inadequate sperm production and also impotence.
v. Chronic stress is known to affect all aspects of human health; the immune system, the endocrine glands and sperm production.
vi. Other factors that have been associated with low sperm count in men are:
-excessive body weight or sudden and drastic weight loss.
-frequent recurrent fever
-strenous exercise
-nutritional deficiencies e.g when Vitamin C is low in the body, the semen clumps and gives rise to poor sperm motility, low zinc diet is also a factor.-men whose mothers were exposed to the drug called des (die thylstiberstrol) when they were pregnant have been found to develop sperm producing defects.

ELEVEN EASY WAYS TO DOUBLE SPERM COUNT IN JUST 10 WEEKS
Here, from experts, are 11 easy ways to double your sperm count in just 10 weeks:

1. AVOID HEAT NEAR GENITALS.—Studies have found that raising temperatures by even one degree can inhibit sperm production. Don’t take hot baths and avoid saunas. If you visit the beach, take regular breaks from sunbathing to cool off in the sea.

2. AVOID ALCOHOL. — Booze "can have a toxic effect on the testicles,” according to Dr. Geeta Nargund, Medical Director of the Center for Reproductive Medicine in London.

3. WEAR LOOSE CLOTHING. — Put on boxer shorts instead of briefs.

4. GET PLENTY OF VITAMINS E & C. — Men who are vitamin E deficient tend to have malformed sperms; and vitamin C has been shown to boost sperm formation.

5. INCREASE INTAKE OF ZINC.—Zinc plays a direct roll in the growth of new sperm. Fertility experts recommend eating plenty of zinc-rich food such as seeds and nuts.

6. TAKE SELENIUM.—When given as a supplement, this mineral has been shown to double sperm production in low-count men. Brazil nuts are rich in selenium.

7. CONSUME ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS.—Found in oily fish such as salmon and mackerel, EFAs dramatically increase sperm quantity and quality.

8. DRINK FILTERED OR BOTTLED WATER ONLY.—Tap water contains high quantities of chemicals that mimic the female hormone estrogen, which reduces male fertility.

9. TAKE BREAKS FROM SITTING.—Driving solidly for three hours a day or more has a detrimental effect on sperm counts – as does sitting at an office desk for long periods.

10. EAT NATURAL FOODS.—Pesticides can cut sperm counts, so eat organic vegetables.

11. RELAX.—Don’t put pressure on yourself. Studies have found that stress has a direct immediate effect on sperm count. So just relax and do what comes naturally. ---Weekly World News, July 24, 2001

FURTHER WAYS TO INCREASE SPERM VOLUME
(Some points above have been re-emphasised)
15th October 2007
Author:
Tyler Williams
1. Drink lots of water. 70% of the body is made of water. Drinking at least a gallon of water a day will insure your body has enough fluids to produce more semen volume. Also you’ll have more overall energy. A study has shown that maintaining hydration and drinking lots of water will increase overall energy naturally by 25%. This method is affordable, but be ready to expect many more frequent trips to the bathroom.

2. Take L-arginine.L-arginine is an amino acid that is considered one of the most important nutrients to men. L-arginine is involved with the production of sperm. Take at least 200mg daily to achieve harder erections and increasing sperm volume. You can buy l-arginine pills, but you have to take around 4-5 pills at once to get a small amount of l-arginine in your body.

3. Take Bee pollen.Bee pollen has been said to be beneficial to not only bees, but to men as well. The ingredient is highly rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids. You will get more frequent erections and more sperm volume. The best are in live, liquid form. The effectiveness of this ingredient is still disputed today, because many scientists claim that although the ingredient might be effective to bees, it will not be effective to humans in such small amounts. There is another product called Royal Jelly, which is the “sole diet of queen bees”. This ingredient is more effective than Bee pollen and is great for the male body.

4. Lift weights.Have you realized that after lifting weights, you feel much more live and angry? This is due to the increase in testosterone weight-lifting exercises induce. Increased testosterone increases sperm production and helps you get better erections.Exercising also gives you more confidence, strength and the stamina to make better love in bed.

5. Take a multi vitamin. A multi-vitamin is extremely beneficial to both male and female. Some daily ingredients you should take are Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Vitamin B12. These vitamins and minerals can be found in many multi-vitamin supplements in many stores.Men should take multi-vitamin supplements designed for men. These include extra ingredients such as Saw palmetto (a berry that is beneficial to men) and Maca. These extra ingredients give that extra boost to the male body, and in the production of sperm volume. These multi-vitamin supplements also cost some money.

6. Drink less alcohol (if you drink often)Drinking less alcohol helps increase sperm volume, because overdrinking causes liver exhaustion and can decrease testosterone. Alcohol has been known to decrease testosterone temporarily.[It is actually better to avoid alcohol completely]

7. Sleep more. Sleeping increases testosterone at a much higher rate than working out. This is also the reason why men get erections when they wake up in the morning. You will increase your sperm volume effectively by sleeping at least 8 hours per day. This testosterone increasing effect only works with REM sleep (real, long sleep). Naps do not count.

8. Take a sperm volume supplement. This is by far the most effective method to increasing sperm volume, because there are certain supplements that were solely created to increase ejaculation volume. While there are many fake products that don’t work, some of the better ones include ingredients that are very beneficial to the human body, such as L-arginine. If you are looking to increase sperm volume, this is the easiest and fastest way to go.
